Treatment
At Victory House, we provide a safe, stable, and structured environment where individuals can begin their recovery journey with dignity and support. This setting allows clients to practice coping skills, rebuild self-confidence, and reconnect with family, work, and community.
Individualized, Evidence-Based Care
Each client receives a personalized treatment plan based on a comprehensive assessment of their substance use history, co-occurring conditions, cultural background, and available support systems. The type, length, and intensity of care are tailored to meet the individual’s needs and circumstances.
Recovery as a Process
Our ultimate goal is recovery—a process of personal growth and improvement, even in the face of a history of substance use or mental health challenges. As defined by Wisconsin law (DHS 36.03(23)), recovery is measured by a decrease in dysfunctional symptoms and an increase in health, wellness, stability, self-determination, and self-sufficiency.
We align our services with the four dimensions of recovery identified by SAMHSA:
- Health – Managing symptoms and making healthy choices
- Home – Living in a safe and stable environment
- Purpose – Engaging in meaningful daily activities
- Community – Building supportive relationships
We recognize that recovery is not a straight line. Setbacks are part of the journey, and we emphasize resilience, hope, and connection as essential to long-term success. Our culturally responsive approach ensures that care is respectful of each client’s values, beliefs, and lived experiences.
